Since 2000, Reverend Maria Pierre has served as an ordained Interfaith Minister and Spiritual Counselor in the Tampa Bay area. She is particularly sensitive to each person’s individual spiritual needs and to the differences in everyone’s personal life.
With dedication and compassion, Rev. Maria has counseled individuals and groups for over 20 years and officiated at many beautiful ceremonies and monumental events.As the Spiritual Director for the Esperanza Interfaith Center, Rev. Maria is committed to helping a variety of people through the pivotal phases of their lives.Through her intuitive nature and compassionate heart, Rev. Maria also works in spiritism and helps others awaken their spiritual senses. Depending on your unique needs, Rev. Maria will:

A native of Puerto Rico, Rev. Maria moved with her family to the United States as a child.She later graduated from the prestigious Harvard University, where she earned her BA in Sociology.She honed her counseling skills for several years and became an Ordained Minister through the New Seminary of the United Kingdom.Over the years, she has written for several publications and served as a counselor in social agencies and non-profit programs.
In 2010, Rev. Maria received the Latina Movers 'N" Shakers Award from Latin Times Magazine. Rev. Maria’s current affiliates include the Association of Interfaith Ministers, The Spiritual Directors’ Association, and The Hillsborough Clergy Association (Hillsborough County – FL).She is also the Spiritual Director and Cofounder of the Tampa Chapter of the Light Workers Interfaith Alliance, which is an interfaith group focused on the process of transformation and raising the spiritual consciousness of everyone on the planet.
