Rev. Maria Pierre, Spiritual Director of EsperanzaInterfaithCenter, presents Celebrating Latino Spirituality. A welcoming panel of four spiritual leaders from the Hispanic community will provide broad overviews of their spiritual practices and will discuss ways in which their organizations serve the community. Rev. Maria is now leading a monthly spirituality group at the Francis House in Tampa.Her work at the Francis House is focused on helping individuals coping with HIV and AIDs.Her mission is to help them find ways to develop and grow their spirituality.

~ Day of Prayer for Mother Earth Held 10/11/08 at Esperanza Interaith Center: The Community joined in mediation to heal Mother Earth and to pray for work, workers, and careers on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
